Description   We are looking for a QA Tester with Market Data and On-Air applications testing experience for a long term contract opportunity to join our client in Englewood Cliffs NJ. In person interview are a must.     Key to this role: Testing with Market Data, On-Air and Real-Time Graphics are a MUST   Required Qualifications:    ·         BS/MS degree or equivalent ·         3+ years of combined experience in application development, project management, or quality testing ·         3+ years of strong experience in Market data testing ·         2+ years of Quality Assurance experience testing Real-Time graphics ·         2+ years experience with a real-time market data application (Reuters Trader, Thomson One, Bloomberg) ·         Strong manual testing background with On-Air/TV applications ·         Experience with any of the automation tools like QTP or RFT or any open source tool ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·         Strong process skills; knowledge of software development lifecycle ·         Understanding of Financial Markets: equities, fixed income, derivatives, and commodities ·         Comfortable interacting and communicating with people at various levels within the organization. ·         Must be able to work independently and possess effective time management skills. ·         Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.   Preferred/Desired Qualifications:    ·         Intermediate to advanced skills in writing test scripts using automated testing tools such as HP QTP or Rational or any Open source tools ·         Experience in managing software testing in an Agile (Scrum) development environment  Self motivated, pro-active team player   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:    ·         Working with the project team to produce a high quality release with zero tolerance for downtime ·         Working with other members of the test team to facilitate end-to-end testing ·         Working with development partners ·         Developing plans for and participating in user acceptance testing ·         Providing status reports to management ·         Reviewing requirements, business and system use cases, technical specifications and other project documentation to ensure gaps are identified early in the development cycle ·         Writing test cases to verify requirements ·         Providing test estimates ·         Writing and maintaining regression test cases ·         Writing test plans ·         Recording details of test executions ·         Manual execution of test scripts ·         Writing and tracking defects and verifying defect resolution ·         Creation and maintenance of automated test scripts   For immediate Consideration Please fill the below details.   Full Name:  Date of Birth [Must]: Phone number:   Best time to call : Email Address: Current location: Availability:  Visa status: If H1B Employer details :  Alternate number: Rate : Experience :     Email: Tom@bartontek.com| url www.BartonTek.com
