Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY


We seek a dynamic SAP BusinessObjects Consultant with Data Migration expertise to join our fast paced IT services and consulting company.
The SAP BusinessObjects Consultant will be responsible for the technical end-to-end implementation of data migration solutions in client environments.
As a valuable member of our project delivery teams, the SAP BusinessObjects Consultant will utilize client’s well defined data migration methodology and SAP BusinessObjects Data Services suite to successfully meet targeted completion milestones.

LOCATION


Client Project Sites (multiple locations throughout US & Canada); no relocation required

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES


• Use SAP BusinessObjects Data Services to migrate data from legacy to the new SAP instance
• Coordinate with clients and ERP Techno/Functional consultants to map existing legacy system data and structures to the SAP ERP system
• Work directly with clients to validate requirements for cleansing and standardizing existing legacy master data and provide custom configurations in unique environments
• Uses BusinessObjects Data Insight to perform data profiling on source systems to assess legacy data quality
• Up to 100% travel, as project sites located throughout US & Canada.

EXPERIENCE


• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field from 4-year university or college; Masters a plus
• 5+ years of experience in migrating master and transaction data from legacy to ERP (SAP preferred) and data migration methodologies
• Technical expertise with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services, Data Integration and Data Quality Management to include installation
• Proven consulting and client facing experience
• Experience in any of the following industries a plus: Retail, Utilities, Consumer Product Goods (CPG), Public Sector, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Manufacturing
• 100% travel from home
