Job Description:

 

We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated Software Engineer knowledgeable of Java, web services, database programming to build web applications

Responsibilities:

 

Design software systems in Java-based environments and build unit tests and integration tests based on functional and non-functional requirements that will interact with large databases.  This individual will be able to develop and present system and design documentation that works across functions to support the change management, deployment, configuration and release of software components

 

Skills & Experience:

 

Ø  4+ years of Java server side application development

Ø  Hands-on experience of J2EE and Spring technologies

Ø  Knowledge of relational schemas and database modeling and PL/SQL

Ø  Experience developing in both SOAP and REST web services

Ø  Knowledge of Maven and Linux/UNIX environment including common system utilities and scripting

Ø  Good working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Jetty and other web application platforms

Ø  Knowledge of Python, Perl or other scripting language

Ø  Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, or other front-end technologies

Ø  Experience building development tools.
