Job Description:

 

·         Reporting to IT Project Manager, the technical writer is responsible for writing, editing and organizing technical documentation in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for a key IT project supporting Research and Development.

·         The technical writer must be able to organize their ideas, translate technical terms into text clearly understood by the end user and train users with the developed material.

Responsibilities:

 

·         Develop how-to and training documentation for end users

·         Ensure SDLC deliverables are completed on schedule

·         Manage multiple documents in coordination with the project team while working independently

Job Requirements

 

·         5+ years of experience in technical writing

·         Functional Spec's

·         Write User Guides

·         Collaborative team player

·         Expert at Microsoft Office 2007

·         Excellent verbal communication skills

·         Assignment location - Jacksonville, FL
