Job Description:

 

We are looking for excellent QTP tester for our direct client.

 

Technical/Functional Skills:

 

·         5-7 years of work experience as automation engineer in a software development environment

·         5+ years of experience working with SQL queries, stored procedures, etc.

·         5+ years of experience in testing in a Microsoft technology environment

·         C# in .NET frameworks, Visual Studio, TFS, Coded UI, etc.

·         5+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies like Waterfall, RUP or Agile

·         3-5 years of experience automating tests using the Page Object Model using C#

·         5+ experience in working in an outsourcing environment, especially with Indian vendors

 

Nice to Have: Experience with custom controls JavaScript APIs (e.g. Telerik)

 

Nice to Have: Experience with PowerShell scripting

 

Education and Experience

 

Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field required.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, or Engineering strongly preferred.

 

·         Significant experience working with complex application projects involving Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET, Visual Studio, VSTS)

·         Strong experience in test automation both at the UI layer and at the services layer

·         Experience in using Microsoft tools like Team Foundation Sever 2010 (TFS)

·         Exposure to working in an outsourcing environment with the vendor located in India

 

Automation Skill set MUST include

 

·         UI Automation - Automation done in .NET environment using C# (must be fluent/comfortable)

·         UI Automation - Framework uses a Page Object Model based framework

·         UI Automation - Working with Custom UI maps, Custom UI controls

·         Automation - Manipulating XMLs using LINQ

·         Automation - Experience creating SQL queries and navigating DB schemas

·         Service Automation - Invoking and utilizing WCF services for testing (or service based APIs)

·         All Automation done using Visual Studio IDE for Internet Explorer browser only
