Job Description:

 

We Require IBM WPS Consultant opportunity to be on boarded in Morton, IL immediately.

 

·         Requirements validation and feasibility analysis with respect to WebSphere Commerce

·         Participate in client discussions to map the requirements to product functionality and customizations including WebSphere Commerce out Of the Box feature mapping.

·         Hands- on with architecture, design and development, and will work very closely with WCS application quality and support the design/ build process.

·         Individuals in this role are expected to have deep knowledge of the WebSphere Commerce architecture, its internal capabilities, extension points, and support complex activities including scalable architecture definition, performance tuning, application integration design, migration strategies, etc.

·         Participate in various project artifacts review activities; define best practices for WebSphere Commerce deliverables.

·         Provide WebSphere Commerceconsultation to Pre-Sales, Participate in proposal activities, discussions with customer as SME, Demonstrate product capabilities,and provide technical leadership and technical differentiation.

·         Create reusable frameworks and artifacts, create knowledge /certification artifacts and evaluation criteria guide or provide technical training in relevant technology areas in order to develop talent in technology /domain

 

What do we require?

 

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, at least 5+ years of experience in WebSphere Commerce.

·         2 to 3 years of expertise in defining scalable, clustered, fault tolerant and performant architecture using WCS AND Java J2ee clustering, indexing and processing servers.

·         2 to 3 years of minimum project delivery experience in the capacity of an Architect or equivalent, across multiple delivery engagements in Digital Commerce.

·         Deep understanding of various caching mechanisms available in WCS and ability to leverage their suitability in different scenarios.

·         Solid experience with Java frameworks for the presentation/ service/ data access layers such as Struts, spring, and Hibernate.Experience in implementing Web 2. 0 concepts.

·         Good understanding of WCS platform source code and ability to extend the product code to meet custom requirements.

·         Proficiency in various web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Dojo, jQuery, JSON,AJAX

·         Exposure to SOA is recommended

·         This role requires flexibility to relocate within the United States
