We have an opportunities Java Developer for our client in Chicago IL,

 

·         Highly motivated, experienced, senior software engineer to contribute to the expansion of the Street Leading Prime Brokerage Matrix Team .

·         We are extending our product suite to tailor to hedge funds, to maintain our positions as forerunners in the competitive landscape.

·         We want to not only distance ourselves from our competitors, we want to establish and be in a league of our own.

·         We are recruiting candidates to help us achieve this vision.

·         The candidate will participate in the design, development and deployment of new and existing applications.

·         The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills as well as the drive to learn more about the Prime Brokerage business and new technologies.

·         The candidate will be expected to work as a member of the development team and participate in the full lifecycle of projects, i.e. from requirements to architecture/development to deployment/training.

·         He/ She will be working with internal business users on a daily basis.

·         Candidate should be open to work front to back in applications

Skills Required

 

·         Bachelors/Masters Degree

·         Hands on in-depth knowledge of Core Java , J2EE Web Applications

·         Strong knowledge of object-oriented design/development (design patterns, web services, soap, xml)

·         Strong understanding of relational databases (write sql , stored procs, indexes)

·         Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX is a must

·         Strong analytical and quantitative skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

·         Interest in learning more about the business
