Only from 5 to 7 Years (DBAs having 10+ years of experience is not required)
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have   
•    SQL Database Administration in 2000,2005,2008R2,2012
•    Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication and log shipping.
•     Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
•    SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
•    Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc
•    Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.
•     Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Good-to-Have   
•    Exposure to SSIS/SSRS
•    Exposure to PostGreSQL, MySQL

1    Work with client and understand the requirements
2    Work on L2 tickets and identify the L3 opportunities and handover to offshore
Handle Escalations from Team and Customer
3    Assist team in crisis situation and provide quick solution to critical issues
2    Design implementation strategy and document
3    Implementation of various oracle products in New servers
4    Enable monitoring, backup and provide transition to existing DBA team
5    Direct communication with client
Prepare status weekly/monthly status report and share with customer
