Mandatory Skill:
Unix scripting in Data Warehousing environment |
Essential Duties
| |
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
|
- 8+ years design and development of DB2 database experience in AIX.
|
- 5+ years of SQL-PL development experience.
|
- 5+ years of shell scripting experience.
|
- Expert teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills are Required
|
- Strong understanding of underlying DB2 UDB database architecture and its internals
|
- Experience with IBM DB2 tools, troubleshooting, monitoring, recovery, and SQL performance tuning
|
- Experience working with very large data warehouses.
|
- Working knowledge of operating system internals (Shell scripting, monitoring, debugging) in AIX
|
Preferred skills: |
| |
- Administration of databases, data migration, data analysis, and research. QA and audit of database applications and processes
|
- Data quality analysis and documentation of processes
|
- Experience with Autosys scheduler and NDM
|
|
- Ability to multi-task along with excellent verbal and written communication
|
- Strong inter-personal, consulting, and business partner management skills
|
- Experience with version control Subversion
|
- Experience in finance industry is a big plus
|
|
- Informatica not particularly needed for this one…a nice to have though!
