We have an opportunities for Sr. Java Developer for our client in Atlanta, GA

 

·         Sr. Java developer will be responsible for development of highly scalable Java RestFul APIs on NoSQL/RDBMS platform.

·         He/she will also be responsible for building high volume message oriented services using AMQP based messaging services. 

·         Proficiency in Service Orient Architecture and RSETful web services is required.

·         He/she will work closely with technical leads and application architects to design and implement highly scalable APIs in conjunction with large data sets.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·         7+ years of prior hands-on experience developing software applications using Java technologies.

·         7+ years of experience in the following areas:

 

·         Java 7, JAX-RS, Jersey, XML, JSON, Groovy, Spring/Guice/CDI,

·         Tomcat 7/8

·         IDE: Eclipse

·         Build System: Maven, Gradle

·         Version control: GIT, Gitty, EGit.

·         Messaging Middleware: RabbitMQ

 

·         3+ years of experience in Riak/Redis/Hadoop/MongoDB

·         Experience building multi-tier, scalable, server-side applications

·         Good understanding of Web Services protocols (REST) and architectures

·         Good understanding of web security including OAUTH

·         Prior work experience in working with cashing technologies like Akamai and/or Memcache

·         Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic fast paced environment

·         Results oriented professional

·         Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
