Title : QA Performance Analyst (INFRASTRUCTURE TESTING)

Duration : 6 months

Location  Dallas, TX

We have an opportunities for QA Performance Analyst for our client in Dallas, TX

 

·         Work within the Performance QA team to correlate “application performance” and “system resource” metrics from performance tests to validate SLAs and forecast production application performance.

·         Work with performance test engineers, application developers, product specialists, systems engineers, DBA’s, network engineers, systems administrators, and capacity management to design meaningful performance tests which reduce the number or performance issues when applications are migrated to production.

 

Role:

 

·         Elicit performance goals

·         Work with performance test engineers and systems engineers to understand and develop appropriate and meaningful performance tests

·         Analyze and correlate performance test metric data including application data and system resource data

·         Provide understandable analysis indicating the relative success of performance testing and opportunities found

·         Develop ad hoc testing methodologies when the current tools are not sufficient

 

Analyst Requirements:

 

·         Experience in at least one: Performance Analysis, Capacity Planning, or Capacity Management.

·         Experience analyzing metric data from tools like HPPM and Dynatrace.

·         Experience with the performance test life cycle. (Analyze Problem, Determine KPIs, Design Test, Execute test, Refine and Repeat)

·         Experience designing or analyzing performance test solutions with tools like load runner or jmeter.

·         Familiar with Key Performance Indicators for Windows, Linux and AIX

·         Familiar with Key Performance Indicators for Network, Disk, CPU, Memory

·         Familiar with Key Performance Indicators for Oracle, WAS
