Job Description:

These skills may also be also used on other DOE projects, as required.

The minimum core competencies required for this position are:

•             Proficient in a database programming language, such as SQL or SAS.

•             Proficient in at least one programming language.

•             Familiarity with data management and quality assurance.

•             Knowledge of basic statistics.

•             Experience with developing data-driven web applications

•             Experience with data visualization or design.

•             Ability to manipulate, organize, and analyze large datasets.

•             Ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts to general audiences.

•             Ability to clearly communicate and document technical work, including coding methodology.

•             Ability to translate broad policy guidelines into actionable data requirements and business rules.

•             Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications in Excel
