Job Title : Lead OpenStack Architect
Location  : ATLANTA GA
Duration  : 7 Months

 

Role Details:
Work with client to gain more insight from the traffic on their websites. 
They currently use Excel and manual processes to build reports and are looking to create an analytics environment with includes Omniture / Adobe and other sources

Has a deep understanding of the IT industry and the implications of emerging technologies for the wider business environment.

Understands, explains and presents complex technical ideas with their impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.

Has authority and responsibility for all aspects of a significant area of work, including policy formation and application.
Is fully accountable for actions taken and decisions made, both by self and subordinates.

 

Lead architect on a complex, large-scale Openstack cloud implementation responsible for defining, planning, and documenting
the architecture and solutions for new cloud products Requirements (* Must Have):
Experience supporting a large scale, elastic, highly available cloud environment
Deep understanding of the OpenStack project ecosystem and hands-on Openstack development / coding experience
Experience with Heat orchestration engine and delivering IaaS and PaaS offerings within Openstack
Good experience with Neutron and solid networking fundamentals (e.g. SDN)
Knowledge of multiple hypervisor technologies (e.g. KVM, VMware ESXi)
Ability to bring others together across various organizations and come to agreements on proposed solutions
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently with minimal supervision in an agile environment
Experience designing and using web services APIs (RESTful, SOAP)
Proficiency with development and scripting and development (Java, C++, bash, perl, python, git)
Experience with monitoring and usage collection tools such as Nagios and Ceilometer
Experience with some Continuous Integration system (eg. Jenkins) - Configuration management tools (e.g. chef, puppet)
