Build & Release

SUMMARY:

·         Over 8 years of IT experience in which includes Solid experience in Configuration Management, Change/Release/Build Management, Support and Maintenance under Unix/Linux.

·         Excellent understanding of SDLC, Traditional, Agile and other Methodologies. Define and meet SLA’s.

·         Experience in administering, troubleshooting and Implementing Release management methodologies to support build and deployment process and manage development tools for software development groups.

·         Expertise in installing, configuring and managing various version control tools like Subversion, Perforce, Clear Case, TFS, CVS, and Git.

·         Extensive experience in defining the branching and merging strategies, creating baselines and releasing the code. Created CM Plans and Test Plans for Applications.

·         Extensive experience on writing build automation scripts using tools like ANT, Maven, Make, Shell scripts.

·         Performed integration of Code Quality Analysis Techniques like FindBugs, PMD and Cobertura with CI tools.

·         Extensive experience in using Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson, Bamboo, AnthillPro, Build Forge.

·         Good knowledge in managing the Nexus and Artifactory repositories for the maven artifacts and dependencies.

·         Experienced in Administrating, troubleshooting, configuring and deploying enterprise applications in WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache-Tomcat and Jboss.

DevOps

·         Skilled in supporting Nginx, Apache webservers and Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, and JBoss application Servers.

Teradata

SUMMARY

·       Over 7+ years of professional IT experience in the area of Teradata, Data Warehousing, RDBMS, Source System Analysis, Data warehouse modeling, Application Design, Development, Testing and Implementation in Data warehouse for Banking and Financial projects

·       Strong experience in Teradata Architecture, Developing BTEQ Scripts, Parallel Processing and utilities like MLOAD, Fast Export,Tpump and FastLoad.

·       ETL and data integration experience in designing and developing ETL mappings and scripts using Informatica Power Center 8.1/7.1 and Power Exchange 5.1

·       Experience in design and development of ETL processes from databases such as Teradata, Mainframe/DB2, Oracle, Sybase and Flat files sources.

·       UNIX shell scripting (Korn and Bash) experience for developing wrapper scripts for ETL jobs and for creating environment files, to create the jobs and job streams (schedules) for daily runs.

·       Strong proficiency in writing SQL(including ORACLE and Teradata).

·       Good exposure on optimizing the SQL and performance tuning.

·       Thorough knowledge on data warehouse concepts like Star Schema, Snow Flake, Dimension and Fact tables and Slowly Changing Dimensions.

·       Experience in optimizing and performance tuning of Mappings and implementing the complex business rules by creating re-usable transformations, Mapplets and Tasks.

·       Experience with Informatica Power Exchange for Mainframe.

Data Analysis

SUMMARY
