Cloud Engineer - TX (*Must be only USC or GC)

Job Title:    Cloud Engineer
Location:    Dallas, TX
Duration:    6 Months CTH
 
Job Description:
Act as a project lead or participate as a team member on projects related to infrastructure - Collaborate with Agile team in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively to solve problems and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
- Experience participating in design, build and testing of system solutions
- Experience in data modeling & lineage
- Experience with full life-cycle cloud-based software implementation activities
- Experience using automated testing and deployment software for both cloud and on-premises applications

 

Skills/Experience- Must Have's
- 3 years experience developing IT infrastructure solutions as a lead engineer/architect
- 5 years experience in Windows server administration including scripting and automation
- Extensive experience in implementing Windows security concepts and policies
- 2+ years VBScript or PowerShell experience to develop complex automation scripts
- 1+ years Windows Azure, AWS or other public Cloud technologies experience
- Excellent communication skills including proven experience effectively communicating technical challenges and solutions to peers, customers, and senior management
 - Proven experience effectively communicating technical issues\challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences - Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, management skills, and the ability to work with users, peers, senior management, and vendors Basic Qualifications: -High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification, or military experience
-At least 8 years of IT experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or military experience
-1+ years experience using scripting to develop complex automation solutions
-2 years of experience with Financial Systems Additional Tools/Technology Knowledge (Wished):
- Linux - SQL Administration
