Location:      Mclean and Richmond, VA
Duration:      6+ months contract to hire

 

Job Description:
Extensive experience with Java/J2EE application design and development 
Strong experience with Spring Framework (MVC, Web flow, JDBC) 
Experience with JavaScript libraries and Frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS)
Strong Experience with REST, SOAP services
Experience with Tomcat, Web Logic, Eclipse 
Proficient with source-control tools and practices 
Experience with Agile practices (Scrum Methodology)

 

Required Experience: AngularJS/NodeJS, Spring/SpringMVC, RESTful web services, and version control using Git, Unit testing. 

 

Preferred Experience: cloud-based deployments (AWS), CICD tools like Jenkins and Chef, ATDD experience, Performance testing via tools like Jmeter, etc and experience delivering on an Agile Team.

AWS

 

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 5 years' experience programming in Java
• At least 2 years' experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory
• At least 2 years' experience with REST, Web Sockets, and/or Event/Reactive
• At least 2 years' experience with JUnit or any equivalents
• At least 2 years' experience in Agile practices
• At least 1 year experience with cloud based development
• At least 1 year container development experience

 

Engineer Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ year experience of Python development experience
• 1+ year experience in building Serviceless solutions
• 1+ UI development using HTML/CSS/Javascript/AngularJS
