Title: Android Developer Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Description: Senior Android Mobile Engineer to work on one of our direct end client projects. In this role, you will be client forward facing and will primarily be responsible for all the aspects of software engineering including technical design, development, testing documentation, analysis and support based on user or system design specifications. The mobile app you will be working on is global with thousands and thousands of users accessing daily. Senior Android Mobile Engineer Job Responsibilities: - The Software Engineer will be responsible for application development and support including story elaboration, estimation, analysis, design, programming, unit/integration testing and code debugging leveraging the Scrum framework. This person will work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and Agile environment and will assume a lead role for various practices and decisions.

- Design and develop native mobile applications for Android.
- Integrate mobile apps with RESTful web services.
- Work with UX Designers, Mobile Architects and other Developers to build enterprise mobile solutions.
- Work as part of an agile team on leading edge technologies.
Senior Android Mobile Engineer Job Requirements: - 4+ years’ experience developing native Android Mobile applications.
- Working knowledge of an objective oriented language (Java, C++, Objective-C, C#, or similar), including 2+ years of Java experience.
- Experience with Android Activities, Fragments and Dependency Injection.
- Demonstrated expertise with the Android SDK.
- Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript a plus.
- App portfolio of available apps developed in the Google Play App Market required.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and lifecycle.
- Experience working in an agile environment required.
- Working knowledge of SCM with strong emphasis on Git and proper Git Flow.
- Must reference at least one application you developed that is available today.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred.
