Role: Web methods Consultant

Location: San Ramon, CA

Responsibilities

·         Drive stabilization of the integration and OneData platform

·         Leverage monitoring tools to drive proactive monitoring of performance and notification of failed services

·         Review error logs

o   Address ad hoc errors and failures

o   Drive resolution of reoccurring errors

·         Work with WebMethods Optimize for Process and Optimize for infrastructure

o   Tune existing KPIs and rules

o   Stand up new KPIs and rules

·         Identify and fix integration and OneData bugs

·         Coordination with other application support teams to resolve integrations issues (various SLAs)

·         Deploy code packages to higher environments

·         Work with platform vendor (Software AG) to resolve system issues

·         Manage platform security scheme and propose improvements if needed

·         Plan and schedule password changes required for compliance reasons

·         Communicate changes with onshore and offshore counterparts

·         Develop support documentation for repeatable processes

·         Prepare production change deployment plans

·         Plan and coordinate bi-annual WebMethods platform upgrades

Required qualifications

·         5+ years of experience supporting integrations

·         2+ years of experience administrating WebMethods integration software: Integration Server, My WebMethods Server, Universal Messaging, Active Transfer, Optimize for Process, Optimize for Infrastructure, Command Central, SAP adapter, JDBC adapter, CAF UI, OneData, Business Process Management, Task Engine, and Process Engine

·         Working knowledge of SOA integration methodologies and protocols: APIs, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Publish-Subscribe, message queues, topics

Preferred qualifications

·         Experience with WebMethods CentraSite and Mediator
