Location : New York, NY/Dallas/Irving, TX

Duration : Fulltime

 

Description:             We are looking for experienced middleware developers with five (5) to ten (10) years of experience to join and existing team of developers. 

                                      This role requires strong communication and analytical skills because the job requires individuals to work with end users and front end development teams to understand the actual business and functional needs. 

                                      This is an environment that uses an integrative approach to requirements and as the development process progresses there may be needs to adjust functions in code that is being developed or has previously been deployed. 

                                      Due to the size of the team and the pace of development individuals will be responsible for creation and execution of use cases to validate the code.

Responsibilities:   Successful candidates will join a team of talented and motivated developers working on strategic and highly visible client projects. Performance factors for this role include the following:

·         Full stack middleware development including messaging services, databases and batch jobs

·         Developing effective and efficient middleware solutions that provide the required performance

·         Coordinating the workflow between front end UI development teams, and yourself

·         Analyzing and remediating existing code base to address new requirements

·         Developing use cases for code and performing unit and integration testing

Qualifications:         

·         Core Java (Collections API, Concurrency)

·         Spring Hibernate & JDBC

·         Experience with messaging middleware technologies

·         Relational Databases (SQL Server)

·         Unix scripting

·         Experience with REST API and Web Services

·         Proficient in test driven development for Backend services (Junit, Mockito etc)

·         Experience developing applications with demonstrated experience with full software lifecycle.

·         Experience with Agile methodologies.

·         Strong Microservices experience.
